A thorough building or area inspection will be conducted by one of our licensed exterminators to determine the type and extent of pest infestation. Then our technician will then discuss options in relation to the pest infestation in order to determine the most efficient method within the client’s budget.
After inspection of infested area the licensed technician will meet with the client to discuss options for extermination and/or removal. The pest removal process will be conducted in accordance with local and state pesticide laws and regulations according to the EPA and Structural Pest Control Board. Pest removal will utilize all available methods of pest control using the safest options first. These include structural maintenance, sanitation, proofing, monitoring, and removal.
Exterior ant colonies may be exterminated using bait or pesticide.[/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What is the Proper Way to Fight Rodents?” tab_id=”1441561805903-aec0dcdb-f82d”]Signs of Infestation:
1. Elimination of harborage is the most effective way to control rodents. This includes removing all general clutter from the home and storage areas to eliminate rodent hiding places.
2. Maintaining an open, well-kept perimeter around the home will also discourage rodent activity.
3. Eliminate free food and water sources.
4. Rodents must be denied entry into the home. This includes filling all structural cracks, screening fan and vent openings, and installing drain covers to prevent rodent entry.
* Mice can fit into an opening the size of a human pinky fingernail.
* Rats can fit into an opening the size of a human thumb nail.
5. Mice and rats are exceptional climbers. Trim all tree limbs approx. 2-3 feet away from the structure is highly recommended.
6. Implement an indoor, outdoor, or both rodent control systems. Rodent control system would include strategically placed glue boards, rodent traps, and rodent bait boxes.
Indoor trapping: Traps are a safe and effective method of eradication, especially for mice and roof rats. Rodents, especially rats, can become trap shy. Glue traps can also effective, and they may trap roaches as well. Rodent control inside occupied buildings shall be accomplished with trapping devices only. All such devices shall be concealed and/or in protected areas so as not to be disturbed by those residing in the home (Adults, Children, and Pets). Trapping devices shall be checked every 1 to 3 days during population suppression and at reasonable intervals during maintenance activities.
Outdoor use of bait boxes: All bait boxes shall be placed out of general view where they will not be disturbed by those residing at the structure (Adults, Children, and Pets). The lids of the boxes shall be securely locked or fastened shut. All bait boxes shall be attached or anchored to the ground, building wall or other immovable surface so that the box cannot be picked up or moved. All bait boxes shall be labeled on the outside with the business name, contact information, and rodenticide used.[/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How to Stop Cockroaches?” tab_id=”1441561845051-0a90e9f8-5b77″]Cockroaches are a quickly reproducing; virus and bacteria carrying insect that survive in damp conditions with a food source and shelter. Cockroach infestations are labeled as light, medium and heavy with light being 3-5 cockroaches observed in an area during inspection, medium being 6-10 cockroaches and heavy being 10 + cockroaches observed.
Light – Cockroach control will consist of the use of bait products along with glue boards for pest capture and monitoring.
Medium – Cockroach control of this level indicates that you have a cockroach problem but it is not yet severe. The infested area will be inspected and a crack and joint treatment will be done using Phantom & Gentrol, or Essentria IC3. Glue boards and bait including pesticide bait will be placed to remove infestation. This type of infestation requires a weekly inspection for six weeks with bait and glue boards being replaced as necessary.
Heavy– A heavy cockroach infestation is of a serious nature and will be dealt with intensively. Crack and joint treatment will be conducted using Phantom & Gentrol, Essentria IC3, Cockroach Gel Bait and/or Delta Dust which will also be applied to wall, ceiling and floor. It is recommended that any treated areas inside walls/ceiling or floor be patched, plugged or filled immediately after pesticide use in order to prevent re-infestation. Cockroach levels will be monitored weekly and a re-application may be required at 6 weeks.[/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How Do You Price Your Services?” tab_id=”1441561879070-86f1fc3c-eee7″]Our pest removal programs are priced by the square footage of the property as well as the type and extent of infestation.
